Yesterday I heard the sad news that Sam Stothoff had died. Sam was an early supporter of the Mediatech Foundation — his smile and sense of humor made everyone feel at ease and his support of Mediatech went beyond writing a check each year. He helped with a dinner that raised over $1000 in our early stages, and always asked me how Mediatech was going whenever I saw him; sometimes walking down Main Street, or at a social event. We’ll all miss his smile and positive energy. If you knew Sam Stothoff, you soon understood that Sam Stothoff’s real secret wasn’t only about finding water — it was in finding kindness.
